This one wins the Oscar! Yes, its hilarious and excellent satire. But what really hit me was the amount of truth and irony that lies beneath the goofy humor. It's not just the money these knuckleheads in Lost Angeles are making. It's the ponzi schemes they are using to fleece the public. For example... I'm a NASCAR fan. There is so much about NASCAR that could be made into a very funny movie. So when I see a trailer for Talladega Nights that features the three (only three) funny scenes, I take my family of 5 out for dinner and a movie. Including popcorn and drinks, I drop about $75 and proceed to the ponzi room where I experience 1.5 hours of humiliation for forking over my money so Will Ferrell can make $20,000,000 and proceed to make his amazingly stupid PSA.
